blah dee blah blah blah
Life has been pretty sober lately. I mean frankly, I might have a beer here and there, smoked a little reefer two nights ago — thought that would have proven to be a bad idea but I ended up wondering why I gave it up for so long.
I’m a lazy ass motherfucker. I have boxes sitting in my fucking kitchen that I haven’t touched. I hate fucking moving. Everything should be fucking organized by now and I should have a fully stocked refrigerator and feel settled already. Instead, the boxes and the things I haven’t unpacked, kind of speak to me. They say, “Laura, if you want to pack up and leave and move to another country…we’re already packed and shit.” Yeah, I heard you.
Fucking winter. I really really really didn’t think I was going to stick around for another round of hell. Instead, I’m knee deep in the mire of a passive funk. Should be more funk-a delic. Should be lots of dancing going on. I’m honestly….brutally honest…just _ not _ feeling it. Not feeling it Chicago, not feeling it inside. Feels like my soul got hijacked sometime last year never to return to my body.
Really, really, reaaaaaaaaally need to get out of this funk. Ever feel like you need a vacation from yourself?

Sweet blog post by Therese Schwenkler / @tschwenkler on why feeling lost most of the time is…pretty normal.
